UAAP Season 75 MVP, Jeron Teng is UAAP Season 75 Rookie of the Year
The awarding rites for the UAAP Season 75 Basketball Awards was held
earlier this afternoon, October 11, 2012, at the Smart Araneta
Coliseum right before Game 2 of Ateneo vs UST
For the Men's Basketball, NU's Bobby Ray Parks Jr won the Season Most
Valuable Player (MVP) award for the 2nd straight year Parks dedicated
his MVP Award to girlfriend Maan Panganiban, who died of cancer in
January
Apart from being the UAAP Season 75 MVP and one of the Mythical Five,
Bobby Ray Parks Jr also won as Jollibee Champ of the Season and PSBank
Maaasahang Player of the Season
Also for the 2nd straight season, Ateneo's Greg Slaughter was named as
among the Mythical Five, along with Parks, UST's Karim Abdul, FEU's
Terrence Romeo and La Salle's Jeron Teng, who was also named as Rookie
of the Year
Terrence Romeo, who's being linked to comedian Vice Ganda, is a
first-time Mythical Five awardee on his 3rd year in the UAAP He was
Rookie of the Year in Season 73
Jeron Teng, meanwhile, achieved a higher feat than his Kuya Jeric of
UST in the UAAP
Jeric Teng was also Rookie of the Year awardee in
UAAP Season 72, but has never been named as one of the Mythical Five
It was also officially announced that the National University (NU)
Bulldogs are UAAP Season 75 2nd Runner Up (3rd Place)
